Fixed a bug which prevented Max for Live devices from grabbing the Launchpad matrix in the available User modes. I just want to run Ableton Live 9.1.5 as a slave to Max MSP using the rewire object. When I opened via the binary, the terminal session spat out some stuff that unfortunately is way beyond my level of computer-talk, but here it is for anyone else that is smarter than I (I would assume you have this already too, but thought it couldn't hurt): Fixed a bug which prevented Max for Live devices from grabbing the Launchpad Pro matrix in the available User modes.
Live 9.2 and later is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, Windows XP and Vista. Download links to the Live 9.1.10 installers can be found in our download archive.
I'm running 9.1 32-bit Ableton Live 9 Suite. Live 9 is compatible with the legacy operating systems Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, Windows XP and Vista only up to version Live 9.1.10. The glitch engine itself is made in Max For Live, and allows a wide variety of outputs ranging from lightly glitched vocals to unrecognizable sounds processed. I've confirmed that opening the contents and running the live binary will successfully open the program. Did anyone ever find a more permanent solution to this? just upgraded to El Capitan last night and immediately started having the "can only open once" issue.
